Aqua Swim School – Terms & Conditions

Lessons missed for any reason cannot be refunded, made up, or transferred to other swimmers.
Payment must be made before the lesson begins, either by bank transfer or cash on poolside.
Payment is required to secure a place for the next term.
Changing the time and/or day of your child’s lessons once the term has started may incur an admin fee of £5.00.
Minimum swimming age is 3.5 years old.

In the event that Watford Girls Grammar School cancels a lesson or amends term dates, we will notify parents/carers via email and text.
We will endeavour to add an alternative date. If an alternative date is offered, lessons are not eligible for refund, credit, or transfer.
If you are unable to attend the alternative date, no refund, credit, or transfer will be given.

All swimmers must wear a swim hat. Hats are available for £4.00 (cash only).
All children who are not completely toilet trained must wear swim pants.
The use of phones or cameras on poolside or in the changing area is strictly prohibited.
Outdoor footwear is not permitted on poolside; overshoes are provided and must be worn at all times.
No food or drink may be brought onto the poolside.
Pushchairs are not permitted on poolside.
Parents are not permitted on poolside during lessons and should watch from outside the pool building or in the reception area (note: the pool cannot be seen from reception).
All swimmers should refrain from wearing jewellery whenever possible.
We provide all floats, aids, and pool equipment needed for lessons.

No abuse will be tolerated towards teachers or pupils.
We reserve the right to remove any child from their lesson if their behaviour compromises their safety or the safety of others.
You are responsible for your children at all times before and after lessons. Aqua Swim School takes no responsibility for unsupervised children.
You are responsible for all children you bring with you. Children (including friends or siblings not swimming) must not play around the car park or school grounds.

Children who have experienced sickness or diarrhoea in the past 48 hours should refrain from swimming.
Please only enter the pool facilities, including changing rooms, 10 minutes prior to your lesson.
Aqua Swim School takes no responsibility for loss or damage to property. Please take all valuables onto poolside and do not leave them in changing cubicles.

At the end of each term, each swimmer will be assessed to monitor progress in skill, stroke, or distance.
Completion of an assessment does not automatically mean progression to the next class.
Badges and certificates can be purchased at poolside for £4.00.
